Build friendships, share tips and boost your self-esteem

The conference is an excellent platform for students to hone debating and public speaking skills, leadership skills as well as build their self-confidence. The students also gain a vast knowledge of current global issues, all of which are attributes of the modern day leader.

The staff at United Nations Office, Nairobi (UNON) offer tremendous support to the programme allowing it to continue growing and maximize the experiences of the participants.

There are four principal committees as well as other specialised committees in the programme. Each committee deals with a problems that would merit an international response from the UN.

In the 2018 conference, 122 schools from 8 nationalities were in attendance. This represented 1,815 delegates, 203 advisors debating in 12 committees.
