The MUN program to me isn't just an extracurricular activity that you check off your to-do list. It’s not an extracurricular activity that you add to your University applications in order to give the impression that you have the capability to think outside the box as well as being an all-rounder. To me, the MUN program reveals another doorway to a world that I am grateful to have experienced. A world that has molded me into the person I am today. I joined the program when I was in year 6, oblivious to the importance that our generation will soon have the power to solve the problems the current generations face today. It could have been the feeling of accomplishment I got when I went to the podium to emphasise on the importance of sufficient health care of struggling populations, or the numerous different friends I made that challenged me to make a decision on who I wanted to be.
