Erick has 18 years experience as a Director of the Model United Nations program. He has advised various schools including Peponi School, Greenacres School and Hillcrest School among others. He prides of a diversity of cultural exposure that has uniquely equipped him with a rare perspective for the Education industry and for youth leadership development. Erick has prepared and coordinated winning teams to MUN conferences in Africa, Europe and USA. These have included to Harvard University MUN (Boston, USA), Cornell University MUN (New York, USA), South African International MUN (Cape Town) and The Hague International MUN (The Netherlands). Erick has experience in coordinating teams to the Model African Union conference organised by The African Leadership Academy in Johannesburg,SA. Erick holds an Honors Bachelors degree in Education (B.ED) from Kenyatta University, an Honors Masters degree in Education (M.ED -Educational planning and administration) from Catholic university (CUEA), and a Graduate Diploma in Human Resource management (DHRM) from Kenya Institute of Management. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Educational Planning. Erick is the Head of the Faculty of Humanities, Head of History and Head of MUN departments at Hillcrest International Schools. He was recently appointed (2013), Coordinator of the East African Middle School Model United Nations, (MSMUN) based in Nairobi. Erick enjoys capacity building for students and the youth, and at EAMUN he is in charge of Administration, Development of new programs and Student officer training.
